Well Being
Shiatsu has been proven to increase physical energy and reduce lethargy

Shiatsu translated means “finger pressure”. It is a traditional Japanese healing art that relaxes and de-stresses the physical, emotional, and mental aspects of a person, and promotes the feeling of overall wellbeing.
The conscious application of carefully regulated pressure on the body releases tension, calms the nervous system, enhanced blood circulation, redistributes and restores the body’s energy allowing the person to start their own healing process.
It can help a wide range of conditions – from specific injuries to more general symptoms of poor health; regular sessions help to prevent the build up of stress in our daily lives.
Shiatsu helps Ki (Chi), our life force energy, flow through the body in a series of channels called meridians. When Ki is depleted or blocked, the person experiences it as discomfort or dis-ease.
